Project Overview

The complex restoration of the Old Lyons Mill, a protected structure on the Finisklin Road in Sligo, involved the sensitive demolition of the interior of the building and replacement of the roof structure. Epitomising sustainable building conservation, a high degree of design, craftmanship and unique skills carefully brought life back to the building. Externally, the hard landscaping was tailored to complement the stone features of the Lyons Mill, which in turn was enhanced with planters, shrubs and trees, to create a stunning new plaza area for Sligo.
